1. Dust Demon

    Dust Demons are humanoid creatures that create a huge dust cloud around them. Creatures caught in the dust cloud will have their fighting accuracy reduced. This makes the dust clouds points of strategic interest, if a monster shoots at you from within a dust cloud you may be less concerned. But the reverse is also true if you shoot your gun from within a dust cloud you’ll probably end up wasting bullets.

    • Medium-High armor
    • Medium dodge
    • Medium HP
    • Creates dust clouds.
    • Immune to dust cloud effects.

  2. The Salamander

    Salamanders are fire lizards, they are immune to fire and will spontaneously put adjacent tiles on fire. They also have a natural hp regain unlike any other creature in the game. Kill them before they regain their health!

    • Puts tiles on fire.
    • Regains HP.
    • Immune to fire damage.
    • Low armor.
    • Medium hp.

  3. Ghosts

    Hi all, sorry for the lack of updates, the game is still in development.

    I thought I’d write some lines about ghosts this time.

    “Boooo.” - A Ghost.

    The ghosts main ability is turning dying creatures into another ghosts. When you fight ghosts and other creatures at the same time it’s usually a good idea to target the ghost first. Otherwise you might find yourself surrounded by ghosts!

    • Spawns new ghosts when living creatures dies.
    • Very low hp.
    • Very high dodge.
    • Keeps player at distance.
    • Shoots low damage high accuracy magic projectiles.

  4. Slimes!

    So I’ve added another slime, which brings the total number of slime creatures up to two. Yay!

    The slimes has the unique ability to engulf the player (and other creatures), creatures stuck in slimes may have a hard time escaping, and takes some damage each turn inside the slime.

    The  regular green slime has no special ability beyond this, but it quite good at being a slime.

    The new slime, the dark slime is a somewhat weaker damage dealer, but it makes up for this by reducing the field of view of the player greatly. It is dark after all!

    Ideas for the future of slimes (Nothing decided yet):

    • Make slimes split when they take damage.
    • Allow slimes to blend/merge together.
    • Drag engulfed creatures as it moves.
    • Red slime: life steal, can eat blood on the floor.
    • Yellow slime: fast and confuses its victim.
